About
Democracy should be transparent. Period. The Blue Mirror shows how each member of the Knesset voted, how often they showed up, which laws they passed and what changed in them on the way.
What's here
A page for each of the 120 members and for every law the 25th Knesset passed. A member's page has their voting attendance, the votes where they broke with their party, their bills, and what they said about laws before voting on them. A law's page has what it changes, who gains and who pays, how each party voted, and what slipped through unnoticed.
Where the data comes from
All of it comes from the Knesset's open database, through the Public Knowledge Workshop: plenum votes, bills, committee and plenum transcripts, and positions. We add no numbers of our own. Next to each figure is a small mark that leads to the document it came from.
Where AI is used
In two places: the summary of each law, and the list of who gains and who pays. A language model reads the text of the law and writes them, and every line points to the section it came from. They are marked as such. Votes, numbers and quotes come straight from the records.
Who's behind the site
The Blue Mirror is a public-interest project by Cyshel. No ads, no sign-up, and nobody keeps what you answer in the quiz.
