How it affects you
Farmers will face new water tariffs: treated wastewater will exclude certain treatment costs, while freshwater tariffs will reflect lower-quality water supply in each area. Existing tariffs will be adjusted gradually over up to five years, beginning July 1, 2025.

- Farmers Will receive infrastructure for treated wastewater delivery to agriculture for ten years Section 11(א)
- Non-agricultural water consumers Will not bear the master plan cost, except for a limited exception Section 11(ג)
Who pays
- The state Will help finance the master plan through the state budget Section 11(ב)(1)
- Licensed suppliers Must carry out infrastructure work to deliver treated wastewater for agriculture Section 11(א)
