How it affects you
From February 26, 2026, people with academic degrees from Palestinian Authority higher education institutions cannot be hired as teachers or education workers in Israel. The director general may approve them if they also have a recognized additional bachelor’s degree and Israeli teaching certificate, unless their employment could harm students or minors.
